Asia’s No.1 wire, cable, tube and pipe industry exhibitions, the 5th All China – International Wire & Cable Industry Trade Fair (wire China 2012) and the 5th All China – International Tube & Pipe Industry Trade Fair (Tube China 2012) will be held concurrently again in Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 25 to 28 September, 2012. Development of the industry determines the prospects of the exhibition. Since 1996, China has maintained the position of world Top 1 for the steel output. In 2011, China’s crude steel production has accounted for 46% of world production. The total capacity of domestic steel industry is 72 million tons per year, which makes China may well be called a big steel country in the world. Wire and cable industries are even more prosperous. Especially in recent years, the transformation of China urbanization, the accelerated construction of power grids, and ultra high voltage, submarine cables, wind power projects etc. have stimulated the market demand for high-tech and high-quality cable and pipe products. In the past 15 years, the average annual growth of the industry has up to more than 15%, and the current domestic cable industry output is over RMB 900 billion (USD 140 billion). UK-based manufacturer of industrial lubricants, METALUBE Ltd, will be exhibiting this September at Wire China from stand number: W1B46. The company specialises in lubricants for the wire, cable and tube industries and is a true global leader in the field.
China is an extremely significant market for METALUBE. In 2005 METALUBE (Shanghai) Ltd was established as a wholly owned Chinese company with sales offices located in Shanghai and Dongguan. World first slip free fine wire drawing machine
It is a new slip free fine wire drawing machine. Each draw is single driven and controlled by torque. This drawing principle prevent the wire surface from damage and it save a lot of energy.
The drawing dies and the drawing pulleys are used much longer. With single drive the system knows the situation of each die and give clear advice to machine operator. Every elongation can be different from the others. Different elongation are automatically regulated by the machine itself. The pay off is fully controlled by the machine too. It is very easy to operate this kind of machine. Pull the wire through the dies, press start button, that’s it.
The wire production cost is much lower than in traditional wire drawing machines. The user interface is user friendly and give all necessary information to the operator. A diameter and surface defect checking system is available as option.
The machine can reach a speed up to 35 m/s. The final wire diameter can be smaller than 20 μm. Also the machine can run try and wet. Elongation up to 35% is no problem. Each machine can have 5 up to 35 draws.
