According to the CEO of VNIIKP, Mr G Meshchanov, the purpose of the exhibition is to showcase the achievements of domestic and foreign manufacturers of cables, wires and fastening hardware, which are primarily aimed at ensuring the reliable operation of cable lines and power lines.cabex 2011 events 2

“Basically, the success of the exhibition was due to the continuing economic recovery in many countries, including Russia. This is directly reflected in the cable industry. As is known, the volume of production of cable products in 2010 compared to 2009 increased by approximately 23%. This determined the high level of interest of both manufacturers of cables, wires and cable fittings and consumers of these products. Hence the large number of visitors, among whom were many senior and middle managers, especially in the electricity sector and the participation in the exhibition of the largest cable factories in the industry,” said Mr I. Peshkov, President of the Electrocable Association.
