Based on the quality of products delivered domestically in FY2015, Sumitomo Electric Industries Ltd. received the Japan Regional Quality Award from Nissan Motor Co. Ltd.

In FY2015 Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. received high-quality products of international standards from Sumitomo Electric Industries Ltd. possessing updated electric wire and cable manufacturing technologies. To acknowledge this Kimiyasu Nakamura, Executive Vice President of Nissan presented the Japan Regional Quality Award along with a certificate of commendation to Masayoshi Matsumoto, President of Sumitomo Electric.
Nissan Global Award ceremony takes place annually to award and recognize the best from the industry. It selects and commends the best quality supplier from among more than 200 domestic suppliers for the company. Also, this award has further encouraged Sumitomo Electric to work towards winning the next award in not just domestic but global electric category.
