HFCL signs Distribution Deal with Ingram Micro

The product range of HFCL featuring the new-generation Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6 access points, point-to-point and point-to-multipoint unlicensed band radios, L2 and L3 switches, and specialised antennas have been designed, developed, and manufactured in India.

HFCL has signed a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro India for the distribution of the ‘IO’ line of products. Ingram Micro has a far-reaching distribution network with a presence in India and SAARC countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka).

HFCL has recently been recognised as a ‘Trusted Source’ by the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS). Being one of the largest telecom equipment suppliers to the Telecom Service Providers (TSPs)/Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and the public sector (government sector), the domestic telecom equipment maker is geared up to consolidate and increase its presence and market share.

Ingram Micro has an established network of more than 20,000 partners, 30+ offices, and 2,000 associates across the country, which will distribute the IO line of products.

Started in October 2019, ‘IO’ is HFCL’s sub-brand providing a range of network access solutions.

Speaking on their association with Ingram Micro, Mr. Mahendra Nahata, Managing Director, HFCL Limited, said, “We are delighted to embark on the journey of our distribution network expansion with Ingram Micro India Private Limited, which has a stronghold in channel distribution in India and SAARC countries.”

The entire product portfolio of HFCL that includes the new-generation Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6 access points, point-to-point and point-to-multipoint unlicensed band radios, L2 and L3 switches, and specialised antennas have been designed, developed, and manufactured in India keeping in view the global specifications, i.e., Make-in-India for the world.
