Dee Vee Projects has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) by National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) for a major expansion project at its alumina refinery in Damanjodi, Koraput district, Odisha. The contract, valued at approximately INR 117.80 crore, encompasses extensive structural, mechanical piping, painting, and insulation works.

The scope of the project includes the erection of intricate structural frameworks and the installation of mechanical piping systems across Pipe Rack PR-01 sections A, B, C, and M at the 5th Stream Alumina Refinery Plant. Additionally, it involves comprehensive industrial painting and application of high-performance insulation to enhance operational safety and efficiency.

Once executed, this project is expected to play a pivotal role in upgrading the infrastructure of NALCO’s alumina plant. It will bolster the plant’s processing capacity and optimize material flow throughout the refinery, supporting NALCO’s broader growth objectives.
