KEI Industries expects phase 1 of its Sanand plant to be commissioned by November 2025.

KEI Industries Limited is in the process of commissioning its largest manufacturing plant in Sanand, Gujarat. Phase 1 of the plant is expected to be commissioned by November 2025.

During company’s analyst call, Mr. Anil Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director commented, “With the commissioning of first phase of this first phase in Sanand in November ’25, around 50 percent of the capacity will come on board, which means around INR 3,000 crores of new capacity will come on board, which will be gradually convert into revenues from the fourth quarter onwards and in the next financial year, because the capacity ramp-up and the stabilization of production will be gradual.”

The ambitious Sanand plant will be responsible for manufacturing EHV cables through the vertical tower. The Sanand plant will be highly export-oriented. All the technical aspects of the cables, which are required in the different export markets, have been taken care of. Also, it will take care of all the technical requirements of the Indian domestic market as well of the Indian customers, up to 500 kV voltage grade.
