L&T has secured significant new orders for its PT&D business, valued between INR 5,000 crore and INR 10,000 crore. These major contracts encompass both domestic and international projects, underscoring L&T’s pivotal role in advancing global power infrastructure.

In India, L&T’s PT&D division has been awarded contracts to construct 765kV and 400kV transmission lines, facilitating the integration of a Renewable Energy Zone in Andhra Pradesh. This infrastructure is essential for transmitting renewable energy from remote generation sites to the national grid, aligning with India’s renewable energy objectives.

Internationally, L&T has secured orders to execute 220kV and 132kV gas insulated substations (GIS) on a turnkey basis in the Middle East. These projects, awarded by leading transmission asset owners and operators, highlight L&T’s technical expertise and project management capabilities.
