JD Cables Limited has received a substantial Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) work order from Kaushal Engineering Limited (KEL) for the completion of civil and electrical works in a National Highway Development Project in Jharkhand. The scope of the order covers the remaining construction works of the Chauparan Flyover, Barkatha Flyover, a Road Over Bridge (ROB), along with associated electrical works for the six-laning of the Bihar–Jharkhand Border stretch (Chordaha to Gorhar section) of National Highway-2.

The total value of the contract stands at INR 2,43,99,19,353 (approximately INR 244 crore), inclusive of GST, approved Change of Scope (COS), and applicable price escalation. The contract amount also factors in all relevant taxes, duties, labour cess, and material royalty, aligned on a back-to-back basis with the main contract. The project is targeted for completion within twelve months from the date of execution of the agreement.
