KEC International has secured new orders worth INR1,102 crore across various businesses.

The engineering and infrastructure major said its civil arm won a contract for civil and structural works on a 150 MW thermal power plant in India. Its transmission & distribution division bagged orders for towers, hardware and poles in the Americas and the Middle East. The cables & conductors unit obtained supply contracts domestically and overseas, while the transportation business received orders in the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) segment.

With these orders, KEC’s year-to-date order intake rises to INR 12,800 crore. CEO Vimal Kejariwal stated the firm is expanding its footprint in buildings & factories, and advancing its capabilities in TCAS (Kavach) technologies to strengthen Indian Railways’ safety systems.
