KEC International Limited., a global infrastructure EPC major, an RPG Group Company, has secured new orders of INR 1,509 crore across its transmission and distribution (T&D) business and cables and conductors business.

The business has secured orders for T&D projects including a 400 kV quad transmission line in India; 500/ 400/ 220 kV overhead transmission lines in the overseas market; supply of towers and hardware and poles in the Americas and the Middle East transportation.
The business has secured an order in JV in the prestigious Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) segment under Kavach in India.
In the cables and conductors segment, the business has secured orders for supply of various types of cables and conductors in India and the overseas market.

These include a significant international order that expands our global T&D footprint. We are also enthused by the repeat order from a private developer which bolsters our presence in the domestic T&D market. Our transportation business has further strengthened its order book in the prestigious TCAS segment (‘Kavach’) by securing another order aimed at enhancing the safety of Indian Railways through world class technology. With these orders, our YTD order intake now stands at over INR 7,000 crore.”
