Polycab has appointed Mr. Shashi Amin as Director (Non-Board Member) and CEO-B2B Channel & Corporate Communication, following the resignation of Mr. Bhushan Sawhney as Executive President and Chief Business Officer – B2B

In line with the strategic priorities and to ensure strong leadership for B2B verticals, the Board has appointed Mr. Amin as Director (Non-Board Member) effective from January 05, 2026.
Mr. Shashi professional journey includes leadership roles across prominent organizations like Apar Industries Limited, BICC Bahrain and Nicco Corporation Limited. Prior to Apar Industries Limited, he was associated with Polycab India Limited for over 11 years as President and SBU Head Cables.

He has more than 37 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, Business development and P&L Management in the cable industry. Mr. Amin has completed his Bachelor of Technology (Electrical Power System) from Amravati University and Master’s in Marketing Management from Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai.
