Universal Cables Limited signs a manufacturing pact with TS Conductor Corp to produce advanced HTLS conductors domestically for power transmission.

Universal Cables Limited (UCL) has approved a Manufacturing Agreement with TS Conductor Corp, a global leader in High Temperature Low Sag (HTLS) conductor technology. Under the agreement, UCL will manufacture HTLS conductors in India using TS Conductor’s proven technical expertise.

The collaboration strengthens India’s power transmission infrastructure by enabling higher current-carrying capacity with minimal sag, making it ideal for line uprating and grid expansion. The partnership aligns with UCL’s strategy to expand its technology-driven product portfolio and cater to evolving utility requirements.

Supporting Government initiatives like Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat, the agreement promotes indigenous manufacturing, technology transfer, and supply chain resilience.
