Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DICABS) has announced the successful commissioning of 8 th Medium Voltage (MV) / Extra High Voltage (EHV) power cable production line at its manufacturing facility at Vadodara, Gujarat. The company invested INR 30 crore in this new line through internal accruals.

With this new line, the company expects a proposed capacity expansion of 150 kms per month, adding to its existing capacity of 1050 kms per month. The commissioning of the new line strengthens the company’s manufacturing capabilities in the technologically advanced MV and EHV underground power cable segment used in power transmission networks, power generation projects, renewable energy evacuation systems, urban underground distribution networks, metro rail systems, airports, data centers and industrial infrastructure.

The company further informs that two additional MV/EHV are presently under installation and commissioning and are expected to become operational on or before 31 March 2027. Upon completion, the company will operate a total of 10 MV/EHV at its Vadodara facility.
