Bajel Projects Secures Upto INR 400 Crore Order For 400kV Transmission Line Project From PGCIL

Bajel Projects wins a major PGCIL contract to build a 400kV transmission line, covering almost 99 kilometers boosting India’s green energy infrastructure.

Bajel Projects Limited has won a Mega Order worth between INR 300 crore and INR 400 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). The contract pertains to the construction of the 400kV TL04 Siwani–Jind (PG) Double Circuit (Quad) Transmission Line, covering approximately 99 kilometers under the REZ Phase IV (Part 3: 6GW), Bikaner Complex: Part B transmission scheme.

Awarded through Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB), the project will be executed by PGCIL on behalf of its special purpose vehicle (SPV), POWERGRID Siwani Transmission Limited. Bajel Projects is expected to complete the work within 18 months, bolstering its credentials in India’s large-scale green energy infrastructure.

The work is scheduled to be completed within an 18-month time period.
