Bajel Projects has unveiled plans to significantly expand the galvanisation capacity at its Ranjangaon plant in Maharashtra. The company aims to ramp up capacity from 40,500 TPA to 1,10,000 TPA by the close of FY27, marking nearly a threefold increase. This phased expansion will take place between the fourth quarter of FY26 and the fourth quarter of FY27.

The project involves an investment of INR 170 crore, which will be funded through a blend of internal resources and debt. The current facility is running at a 98% capacity utilisation.

This move closely follows Bajel’s recent success in securing a substantial order, valued between INR 300 crore and INR 400 crore, for executing a 400 kV transmission line project. Awarded under the TL04 package of the Siwani-Jind segment in the Bikaner Complex’s REZ Phase IV transmission program, the 99-km line will be completed on an EPC basis within 18 months
