Madem-Moorecraft Announces 50% Increase in Production Capacity at Tarboro, NC Plant

With an investment of USD 7 million, the new production lines will be equipped with state-of-the-art fully robotized machinery, enabling a 50% increase in the plant’s installed capacity. The company is also considering opening new distribution centers in Colorado, Connecticut,  Indiana, Louisiana, Missouri, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, further enhancing its coverage and proximity to key customers.

Madem-Moorecraft Reels USA, a subsidiary of the Madem Reels Group Brazil, announces a significant expansion of its wooden reel production capacity at its Tarboro, North Carolina facility. 

With an investment of USD 7 million, the new production lines will be equipped with state-of-the-art fully robotized machinery, enabling a 50% increase in the plant’s installed capacity. With this expansion, the company strengthens its position as a leading supplier of wooden reels for the wire & cable, meeting the growing demand of the U.S. market.

Madem-Moorecraft already operates a solid logistics network with distribution centers in Texas (TX), Georgia (GA), Arizona (AZ), West Virginia (WV), Ohio (OH), and North Carolina (NC). 

As part of its expansion plan, the company is considering opening new distribution centers in Colorado (CO), Connecticut (CT),  Indiana (IN), Louisiana (LA), Missouri (MO), Maryland (MD), and Pennsylvania (PA), further enhancing its coverage and proximity to key customers.

In addition to its Tarboro plant, Madem-Moorecraft also operates another industrial facility in Denton, Texas (TX), reinforcing its commitment to serve customers across the United States with efficiency and reliability.

In addition to technological innovation and industrial growth, Madem-Moorecraft is committed to quality and sustainability. By 2026, Madem Reels  U.S. operations are projected to generate over USD 100 million in annual sales, supported by an estimated 300 employees. Globally, the Group anticipates reaching approximately USD 230 million in annual sales with a total workforce of 800 employees, underscoring its continued expansion and strong performance across international markets.
