JD Cables acquired land and building in West Bengal for Rs 10.45 crore to expand manufacturing capacity and product portfolio.

JD Cables Limited signed and registered the Deed of Conveyance on December 23, 2025, for purchasing land and building measuring approximately 164.29 cottah (approximately 118,288.8 sq ft) at Mouza Dankunibill, District Hooghly, West Bengal. The total consideration for the transaction is INR 10.45 crore. The property was acquired from Star Battery Limited and is free from all encumbrances, charges, and claims.

The acquisition is expected to significantly enhance the company’s manufacturing infrastructure and production capacity to meet rising demand for cables and conductors.
The new facility will also enable the introduction of additional product lines, including AL-59 conductors, MVCC conductors, HTLS conductors, and high-tension cables, strengthening the company’s product portfolio. Management stated that the expansion is aimed at driving higher revenues and supporting long-term growth across domestic and export markets.
