Polycab India has announced the merger of its wholly owned subsidiary, Uniglobus Electricals and Electronics Private Limited, into the parent company. The decision was approved during a recent meeting of the Board of Directors.

Uniglobus, which began as an electronics laboratory, has since evolved into a full-scale manufacturing unit located in Halol, Gujarat. It currently produces a wide array of FMEG (Fast-Moving Electrical Goods) products, including LED drivers, luminaires, BLDC controllers, and surge protection devices.

The merger is expected to deliver strategic synergies through the unification of product lines and technologies, leading to better operational performance and cost efficiencies.
