The Board has approved the change in the name of the Company from ‘Jindal Steel & Power Limited’ to ‘Jindal Steel Limited’, along with the consequential amendments to the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association, in order to align the Company’s brand identity with its core business and strategic focus.
The company also stated through a press release that this change is subject to the approval of the shareholders of the company, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and other applicable statutory authorities, as required.
