KPS3 Transmission, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), has successfully commissioned the Khavda Pooling Station-3 (KPS3) under the Khavda Renewable Energy Park project in Gujarat.

The project, awarded through tariff-based competitive bidding, went into operation on 04 August 2025, with the Date of Commercial Operation (DOCO) officially declared on 18 August 2025. This development represents a key step in expanding India’s inter-state transmission capacity and strengthening renewable energy evacuation from the region.

The KPS3 project is designed to enhance grid stability and ensure smooth transfer of renewable power generated at the Khavda RE Park to major demand centres across the country.
