Ravi Shahi has been appointed as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Vedanta Limited for its Aluminium Business in Jharsuguda, where he will focus on strengthening the aluminium value chain.

He will also drive market-led strategies to ensure sustainable commercial outcomes across all operations, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate upstream and downstream processes effectively, and lead initiatives that promote commercial excellence and strengthen the company’s market position.
He brings with him extensive leadership experience across leading industrial organizations. Prior to this role, he served as Director – Fuel Security at Vedanta Limited, and has held senior positions including Vice President at LafargeHolcim Group, Assistant Vice President at Hindalco Industries Limited, and other leadership roles at Hindalco Hirakud, and UltraTech Cement, with deep expertise in commercial strategy, materials management, sourcing, and logistics.
