Finolex Cables’ preform manufacturing facility, with a Phase 1 production capacity of 100 metric tonnes, is currently under production trials and is expected to be commissioned by March 2026. In addition, the company is also progressing with Phase 1 of its fiber draw capacity expansion, which will add 2 million fiber kilometre metres (FKM) to its installed capacity. Once operational, these investments will significantly strengthen Finolex’s backward integration, enhance supply security for optical fiber, and support the company’s growth plans in the telecom and data communication segments.
