Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd. has commissioned a dedicated copper wire drawing and cable manufacturing line at its existing facility in Savli, Vadodara, Gujarat, with commercial production commencing on August 20, 2026. The new line has an installed capacity of 1,500 MT per month and will manufacture copper conductor power cables for data centres, power plants and industrial installations.

The move marks a strategic expansion for Diamond Power, which has traditionally focused on aluminium-based cables and conductors. With the new capacity, the company can now offer both aluminium and copper cable solutions to customers.

The company stated that no substantial new investment was required for the capacity addition, as the required machinery and infrastructure were already available. Diamond Power plans to serve both domestic and export markets through the new line.
