Diamond Power will invest INR 25 crore in a new Catenary Continuous Vulcanisation (CCV) line at its Vadodara plant to expand its manufacturing capabilities for cables up to 132 kV.

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited plans to add a new Catenary Continuous Vulcanisation (CCV) line at its Vadodara facility to meet growing demand for high-voltage and extra-high-voltage underground cables. The project requires an investment of INR 25 crore, including floor extension costs, and will be funded through internal accruals. Machinery delivery is scheduled by August 2027, with commissioning targeted for December 31, 2027.

The company currently operates six CCV lines, with an estimated EHV cable manufacturing capacity of approximately 2,000 km per annum and utilisation of around 60%. The additional line is expected to help meet customer demand for larger volumes and shorter delivery timelines.
