Rajesh Power Services Ltd, an EPC company in the power transmission and distribution, has secured an underground cable contract from Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) worth approximately INR 212 crore.

As a part of the contract, the company will install a 220 kV underground transmission cable network connecting Mendhasal grid substation to Chandaka B GIS in Odisha. The new contract marks Rajesh Power’s entry into Odisha, solidifying its footprint in the region. The company also executes its projects in the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh.

Mr. Kurang Panchal, Managing Director, Rajesh Power Services, emphasized that the orders from OPTCL marks an important milestone for Rajesh Power as the company expands its presence into Odisha, reflecting its confidence in the execution capabilities and technical expertise in the transmission and distribution sector.
