The contracts include transmission lines, substations and equipment supply projects across Saudi Arabia, Africa, India and the Americas.

KEC International Ltd. has secured new transmission and distribution (T&D) orders worth INR 1,476 crore across India, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas. The orders include a major composite project in Saudi Arabia involving 380 kV transmission lines, substations and extra high voltage (EHV) cabling. The company has also won contracts for 132 kV transmission lines in Africa.

Additionally, the scope includes the supply of transmission towers in India and the Americas, along with hardware and poles for projects in the Americas.
Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, said the order wins across multiple geographies and strengthens its global T&D business. He added that securing its largest composite order in Saudi Arabia despite the current geopolitical environment highlights continued investment in the Middle East transmission market.

Mr. Kejriwal noted that the Africa order signals a gradual recovery in the region’s T&D sector. With these wins, the company’s year-to-date order intake has reached about INR 22,800 crore.
