KEI Industries has approved a capital investment of approximately INR 700 crore to expand its wires and cables manufacturing capacity at its upcoming Salarpur facility in Rajasthan.

KEI Industries Limited approved a INR 700 crore capacity expansion at its new Salarpur, Rajasthan unit. The project will enhance cable production and strengthen backward integration through a new galvanized iron (GI) wire manufacturing unit, with phased commissioning targeted by September 2028.

The new manufacturing unit will be established at Salarpur in the Khairthal-Tijara district of Rajasthan and will add 50,000 KMS of cable manufacturing capacity along with 40,000 MT of GI wire capacity for backward integration.The expansion is expected to improve supply chain integration, support higher production volumes, and reinforce KEI’s manufacturing capabilities.
