Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister has announced that the AP government is expanding and modernising the state’s power network. Under the Comprehensive Scheme, 90 of the 239 project elements have been successfully commissioned with two 33 KV transmission lines and a substation.

The transmission line comprises Khonsa-Khonsa Line, and Basar-Tirbin Line and the substation is commissioned at Basar, improving power transmission and distribution across Arunachal Pradesh.
