Dilip Buildcon has emerged as the L1 bidder for a 400 kV AIS transmission project in Yavatmal, Maharashtra, with an EPC value of INR 1,151.47 crore excluding GST. The project will be developed on a BOOT basis.

Dilip Buildcon Limited has been selected as the successful bidder by REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), acting as the Bid Process Coordinator on behalf of Maharashtra State Transmission Utility, for establishing a 400 kV AIS Yavatmal (Babhulgaon) transmission system. The project involves development, financing, design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of transmission assets.

The project will be implemented under the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis. Construction and commissioning are scheduled to be completed within 24 months, while the transmission system will be operated for 35 years from the Commercial Operation Date. The EPC value for Dilip Buildcon is INR 1,151.47 crore, excluding GST.
