HFCL has received board’s approval to invest INR 215 crore for setting up a data centre connectivity products manufacturing facility, as per the regulatory filing.

The connectivity products include miniature multi-fibre (MMC) and super high-density multi-fibre termination (SNMT) assemblies used for hyperscale data centers and high-performance AI hardware, optimizing hardware cooling and bandwidth scalability.

The facility will have an expected annual production capacity of 2,70,000 assemblies and is expected to be commissioned by September 2027, supporting India’s data centre ecosystem.
