Laser Power & Infra has secured its first commercial HTLS conductor contracts from Power Grid Corporation of India, worth INR 72.77 crore, covering supply and reconductoring of two 132 kV transmission lines under the North Eastern Region Expansion Scheme-XXIV.

Laser Power & Infra has been awarded contracts worth INR 72.77 crore by Power Grid Corporation of India for its first commercial HTLS conductor project. The order comprises a goods supply contract of INR 58.92 crore for HTLS conductors and associated materials, and a services contract of INR 13.85 crore for reconductoring, installation and commissioning.

The project covers the Khandong–Halflong (63.036 km) and Halflong–Jiribam (100.63 km) 132 kV single-circuit transmission lines, with completion scheduled within 12 months.
