Polycab India sets up new subsidiary to expand EPC capabilities across power distribution and transmission and telecom infrastructure segments in India.

Polycab India Limited incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Polycon Infra Projects Private Limited, in India on April 24, 2026. The new entity will focus on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects in the power distribution, transmission, and telecom sectors. The subsidiary has an authorised capital of INR 1 crore and a paid-up capital of INR 10 lakh.

Polycab has subscribed to 1 lakh equity shares at INR 10 each, aggregating to INR 10 lakh, giving it 100% ownership in the subsidiary. The move is aimed at strengthening the company’s presence in infrastructure-led business segments.
