Shyam Steel Group has inaugurated its first international manufacturing facility in Sharjah, marking a major milestone in its global expansion strategy.

Shyam Steel Group has established its first international manufacturing facility outside India at the Hamriyah Free Zone in Sharjah, UAE, through its subsidiary Shyam Middle East FZC. Set up with an initial investment of AED 60 million, the 215,000 sq. ft. facility has an annual production capacity of 30,000 tonnes of recycled aluminium and copper alloys and will cater to markets across the Middle East, GCC, Africa, Asia, and Europe.

The project marks the beginning of the Group’s global expansion roadmap, with plans for phased investments of up to AED 150 million. During the inauguration, officials toured the facility’s recycling systems, alloy manufacturing lines, quality assurance laboratories, and advanced industrial technologies designed to enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and sustainability.
