Resonia Limited appoints Prashant Sinha as CEO to lead transmission expansion, strengthen project execution and support India’s energy transition.

Resonia Ltd., a leading power transmission infrastructure company, has announced the appointment of Mr. Prashant Sinha as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Sinha previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Resonia overseeing overall project portfolio, business acquisition and development. In this role, he played a key role in strengthening project execution and driving operational excellence across the company’s transmission portfolio.

With nearly three decades of experience across the power, infrastructure and financial sectors, Prashant will lead Resonia’s next phase of growth with a strong focus on the development and operation of large-scale, inter and intra-regional transmission projects to support national energy security while leveraging advanced technologies to optimize operational efficiency. Under his leadership, the company will continue to strengthen its role in building reliable and scalable transmission infrastructure that enables the integration of clean energy and advances its commitment of ‘Power to the People’.

Resonia has been at the forefront of modernizing transmission project execution through the adoption of advanced technologies such as drone-based stringing, double arm gin pole assisted tower erection, and helical pile foundations. These innovations enable faster project delivery, improved safety standards, and reduced environmental impact, particularly in challenging terrains.
Previously, Mr. Prashant has held leadership roles at Investment Information and Credit Rating Agency of India Limited (ICRA), L&T Infrastructure Finance, L&T Finance, Suzlon Wind Energy, and Bondbazaar. He has also held senior positions at Avera and Tata Consulting Engineers, where he managed P&L responsibility for global markets.

He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, and has strengthened his management capabilities at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. He is widely recognized for championing mechanization in transmission construction, strong stakeholder engagement, and a people-centric leadership approach focused on disciplined execution.
