Kutch Copper has started producing oxygen-free copper rods, expanding its product portfolio to support India’s growing advanced manufacturing needs.

Kutch Copper Limited, part of Adani Metals, has commenced production of Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) and Oxygen-Free Electronic/Electrolytic Copper (OFE) rods. The company said the high-purity copper rods are engineered to deliver superior conductivity and performance for critical applications across power infrastructure, renewable energy, electronics, telecommunications, and advanced manufacturing sectors.

The production marks a key milestone in strengthening India’s copper value chain, with Kutch Copper aiming to meet the country’s rising demand for high-quality copper products while supporting future infrastructure development.
