Skipper Limited, a Kolkata-based industrial and engineering firm has secured INR 797 crore in new orders across domestic and international power Transmission and Distribution (T&D) projects, comprising export orders for the supply of transmission towers and monopoles for projects in Australia, along with a 765 kV transmission line project in India from a domestic developer.

The new orders are expected to strengthen Skipper’s presence in higher-voltage transmission infrastructure and technically complex T&D projects. The company said growing traction in international markets, particularly Australia, is supporting its strategy to expand its presence in developed markets through its high-voltage transmission structures and solutions.
