Steel processor Maiden Forgings is set to launch GI wires and stainless-steel components, targeting higher margins and accelerated growth.

Maiden Forgings Ltd plans to commence commercial production of GI wires and stainless-steel machine components following the operationalization of its new integrated facility at Modinagar.

The company expects the new product lines to add 9,000-10,000 tonnes of annual capacity and improve profitability. The company said that GI wires could deliver margins of 20-25%, significantly higher than conventional wire products, with customer demand already secured through letters of intent.

The new facility, currently nearing completion, will consolidate existing operations, enhance efficiencies and support future capacity expansion. The company is also strengthening its presence in defence and government businesses while pursuing export expansion through a planned Dubai warehousing hub.
