Paramount Communications plans an INR 300 crore greenfield plant to expand EHV cable manufacturing capacity and strengthen transmission-sector presence.

Paramount Communications Limited has announced a INR 300 crore greenfield manufacturing project at Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, aimed at expanding its extra-high-voltage (EHV) cable portfolio and specialised transmission products. The company expects partial commissioning of the facility in Q1 FY28.

The upcoming plant will manufacture EHV cables up to 132 kV, specialised conductors, and elastomeric e-beam cables, supporting India’s rising transmission and power infrastructure demand. Paramount said the expansion aligns with accelerating investments in transmission grids, renewable energy, and data centres.

The company targets revenue of ₹500 crore from the new facility in FY28, scaling up to INR 1,200 crore by FY29.
