Ducab has energized a critical 132kV power link in Sharjah, strengthening grid reliability for the airport and industrial zones there.

Dubai Cable Company (Ducab) has successfully energized the 132kV Airport–AI17A Circuit 1 and 2, a 16.5 km cable route executed under SEWA Project 2000440. The newly commissioned circuit delivers 366 MVA, reinforcing power supply reliability to Sharjah International Airport and Industrial Area 17.

Delivered in close collaboration with Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA), the project navigated complex routing challenges, multiple regulatory approvals, and HDD crossings beneath major roadways. Execution was completed seamlessly within the high-profile University City area.
