Bansal Wire Industries Ltd is planning to deploy INR 2,500 crore of its planned INR 3,500 crore capex over the next five years into a new steel cord manufacturing vertical at its Dadri plant in UP. The investment will be made through borrowings and internal accruals. The investment will occur in a phased manner over the next three years.

Managing Director Mr. Pranav Bansal told a media outlet that almost 60 percent of the steel cord is still largely imported to meet India’s requirement. We are the first Indian company to enter this segment.
