Sterlite Electric announced that it has won the first 220kV power cable export order from Sri Lanka, reflecting the company’s growing capabilities in the EHV cable segment and its focus on meeting the technical and quality requirements of customers across different markets.

The order comprises 1C 630 sq. mm. XLPE-insulated power cables for a substation project in Colombo for National Transmission Network Service Provider Pvt. Ltd. (NTNSP), formerly known as the Ceylon Electricity Board.
