HFCL has secured a INR 2,666.09 crore BharatNet Phase-III contract from RVNL to expand broadband infrastructure across western Uttar Pradesh.

HFCL Ltd has won a contract worth approximately INR 2,666.09 crore from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) for the BharatNet Phase-III project in the Uttar Pradesh (West) Telecom Circle.

The project includes the supply, installation and commissioning of telecom equipment, creation of an optical fibre cable network, and maintenance of the network for 10 years, including a one-year warranty period. The implementation phase is scheduled to be completed within two years.
The company said the latest order is in addition to the INR 2,167.65 crore BharatNet Phase-III contracts awarded by RVNL in January 2025 for projects in the Uttar Pradesh (East) and Uttar Pradesh (West) telecom circles.

HFCL stated that the new order reinforces its position in the telecom network infrastructure segment and reflects its continued focus on executing large-scale digital connectivity projects across the country. The company clarified that the contract was received in the normal course of business and that neither its promoters nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity.
