Praneetha EcoCables has dispatched the first batch of bare copper wire from its Sanand facility. Solar cable manufacturing is scheduled to commence in October, followed by building wires and flexible cables in November. The company will source 100% of its primary copper from Kutch Copper Limited, part of the Adani Group, ensuring purity levels of 99.97% and above. The 30-acre greenfield plant is nearing full commissioning, positioning the company to capitalise on India’s INR 1 lakh crore wire and cable market.

Praneetha EcoCables Limited, a future-focused wires and cables manufacturing company, has achieved a significant milestone with the dispatch of its first batch of bare copper wire from its greenfield manufacturing facility at Sanand, near Ahmedabad. The development marks the commencement of commercial production at the company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing plant.
Praneetha EcoCables plans to commence full-scale production of solar cables by October, followed by building wires and flexible cables by November. Subsequently, additional product categories will be introduced in a phased manner. Importantly, the company has kicked off a nationwide campaign to set up its dealership network.

Praneetha EcoCables had laid the foundation stone for its world-class manufacturing facility on a 30-acre site in September 2025. Over the past year, construction and infrastructure development have progressed steadily, supported by the installation of advanced manufacturing machinery sourced from Europe, China, Turkey and India. The facility is now nearing full commissioning.

The company will source 100 per cent of its primary copper requirements from Kutch Copper Limited, India’s largest copper smelting facility that is part of the Adani Group. This will ensure copper purity levels of 99.97 per cent and above across its product portfolio. The integrated ‘Mine-to-Market’ approach is expected to deliver superior product quality, consistency, reliability, and long-term performance for customers.

In addition to dispatching its first production batch of bare wire on September 20, Praneetha EcoCables also celebrated the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of newly built temple at the manufacturing facility in the presence of key stakeholders, marking another important step in its journey towards becoming a leading player in India’s wire and cable industry.
India’s rapidly expanding wire and cable industry, valued at over INR 1 lakh crore today, is projected to grow at a healthy pace over the coming years, supported by the country’s infrastructure transformation, renewable energy expansion, urbanisation, and digitalisation initiatives.
