Systematic Industries to Acquire Wire Brigade Industries for INR 21.50 Crore

Systematic Industries has approved the acquisition of 100% of Wire Brigade Industries for INR 21.50 crore, adding a 24,000 MT-per-annum manufacturing facility in Howrah and taking its total manufacturing capacity to 1.72 lakh MT per annum.

Systematic Industries Limited has approved the proposed acquisition of 100% equity shareholding of Wire Brigade Industries Private Limited, a promoter group company engaged in the manufacturing of galvanised steel wires and strips, for a total consideration of INR 21.50 crore. The acquisition will add an established manufacturing facility in Howrah, West Bengal, and is expected to increase Systematic’s overall manufacturing capacity to 1.72 lakh MT per annum.

Wire Brigade operates a manufacturing facility in Howrah and recorded INR 109.75 crore in revenue. The Howrah facility is expected to strengthen Systematic’s manufacturing presence in Eastern India and complement its existing pan-India manufacturing network.

Siddharth Rajendra Agarwal, Managing Director, Systematic Industries Limited, said the acquisition would strengthen the company’s presence in Eastern India and provide an established manufacturing base in a strategically important region. He added that the integration of the Howrah facility, alongside the recently added Siltara facility, would support the company’s focus on disciplined capacity expansion, wider geographical reach and a stronger manufacturing platform.
