2021: The year that was

The year 2021 has been a good year for Goldmedal Electricals Pvt. Ltd. not just in the wires and cables category, but in overall products. Along with a continued increase in sales, Goldmedal Electricals also grew in terms of visibility and its portfolio of products. The company is on the path to carrying forward these developments into the coming year. We have launched a new category of products for fans and very soon, we will be launching wires and cables under the ‘Air’ brand. These wires will be marketed on a pan-India basis and will be competitively priced.

2022: The year that will be

The focus of the next few years will be to increase the visibility of the Goldmedal Electricals across the country. The company has always enjoyed the reputation of being a quality brand that creates innovative products in the industry – with increased visibility, the general consumer would also become aware of the vast portfolio and superior quality of its products. While the company foresees a huge increase in demand in the future, it is not resting on its laurels. The year 2021-22 will see quite a few major announcements in terms of new product launches that will establish the company as a leading brand in the electrical industry.

The company has a pan-India presence with offices in almost all states in India. However, there are certain locations within the country where the company needs to establish itself further. This will require a mix of local and national level branding efforts to make the brand stronger. Local-level activities involve engaging with the electricians and retailers at the grassroots level. We have an in-house developed mobile app called ‘Dhan Barse’ that ensures personal connection with these stakeholders. Along with this, we also hold regular ‘nukkad’ meetings to train, communicate, and recognise the effort of every stakeholder. National level campaigns will support these efforts to make sure there is higher recognition and acceptability of our brand in every Indian home.
