India’s leading Aluminium producer, Vedanta Aluminium has recently launched its new range of 12 mm Aluminum Wire Rods. This latest offering to the electric industry has utilization in the extrusion, drawing and rolling industries for electrical application in transformers, automobiles and more. The product is manufactured in the company’s aluminium smelters in Jharsuguda, Odisha and BALCO, Chhattisgarh using the Properzi Continuous Casting technology. The 12mm wire rods are the newest inclusion to the company’s range of wire rods, which include 7.6 mm, 9.5 mm and 15 mm EC-grade wire rods, alloy wire rods (8xxx series) and flip coils.
