TKF Doubles OFC Production Capacity Through New Facility in Poland

TKF, part of TKH Group N. V., has started operations at its Poland-based new state-of-the-art OFC production facility. The company aims to double its production capacity to serve the European market.

TKF, part of TKH Group N.V., has officially opened its new state-of-the-art production facility for OFC in Rawicz, Poland. The company aims to double its OFC production capacity and supply innovative solutions in Europe, partially replacing production capacity in China. The factory was officially opened on September 6, 2023, in the presence of local employees, customers, building partners, and the Mayor of Rawicz.

The new factory has been realized in close cooperation with C&C Partners and is at the same location as E&E Cable Solutions, both are sister companies of TKF and part of TKH Group N.V.

The new facility spans an area of 10,000 sqm and is designed to match the environmental sustainability ESG goals (Environment, Social and Governance) which includes, among others, the use of state-of-the-art UV LED, LED lighting, and solar power. Its construction was commissioned in March 2022, and just one and a half years later, the factory is already operational. 

Mr Grzegorz Kubik, the Mayor of Rawicz, stated, “We are happy to welcome TKF in Rawicz. Building this factory from scratch in such a short time shows that the right project organization had been put in place. I would like to thank TKF for investing in Rawicz and wish them all the success in realizing their objectives.”

Mr. Wim Bank, Telecom Director at TKF, said, “There is a great sense of pride among the workers here and the community. The new plant is adding more than 75 full-time jobs at the site. Our expansion is an exciting move for TKF. By significantly increasing capacity in the European Union, we enhance our ability to meet the needs of our customers and strengthen our European competitiveness”.
